The London-based songstress has just unveiled her latest body of work, a stunning album that ends a journey started earlier this year, with three singles that slowly allowed us to enter into Wells’ nuanced and refined artistic universe. ‘Ellipsis’ is complex, from a human standpoint. A thousand emotions explored with cathartic attitude, deep introspection being carried out over bucolic and poignant soundscapes: everything points towards a sublime listening experience, the perfect companion for solitary winter evenings or moody summer mornings.
What’s more, Wells also shares a charming and hypnotising music video for ‘Never Will’. Both the track and its visual contour pivot acute and heartbreaking storytelling, with a resolution that never quite comes, but that lets us wonder what will happen.
