Myles From Home Reiterates His Talent with ‘Don’t Get on the Train’

Songwriting has always been a dark art; some get it, some don’t. Myles From Home certainly does, penning playful, uplifting and relatable material that’s a joy on the ear and a sunbeam on the soul. ‘Don’t Get on the Train’ is the biggest evidence of that: leaving behind the project’s signature rock’n’roll and funk formula, the single delves into eclectic territories, bathing in soothing folk-pop and melancholic lyricism. It’s all delivered with positivity and electrifying charisma – as you would expect from Myles Hildebrand.

Hailing from Canada, the talented creative rediscovered ‘Don’t Get on the Train’ after having worked on it for years. Now, the song is finally given a livery that makes it justice, although at a deeper look one can see how Hildebrand’s raw, warm vocal tone does a lot of the heavy lifting, transforming every lyrical line into musical honey. Originally written for a school project 17 years ago, ‘Don’t Get on the Train’ returns home, so to speak, just like its lyrics would wish.
