What instantly stood out to me in ‘Echoes of You’, is the catchy and anthemic hook, carrying the whole track and capturing the listener’s attention almost instantly. At a wider look, the record might appear quite quirky and peculiar. Clocking in at a relatively short length – exactly at the two-minute mark – ‘Echoes of You’ weaves in and out of vocal-powered sections – very contemporary and with a bright hyperpop flair – and instrumental hook bits.
