Emerging from Denver, Mountain Climer is the solo outfit of multi-talented musician Jeremy Climer. While his music sounds like a band, it’s worth mentioning he takes on every instrument and vocal duty, showcasing the high degree of musicianship enjoyed by the project. Now, Mountain Climer shares his latest EP, ‘Let the Blood Flow’, a stunning and melancholic collection of distorted gems that delve deep into the realms of personal struggles, redemption, and the pursuit of meaning. With raw character and intense energy, the record offers listeners a captivating musical journey, leaving no emotion unexplored.
Inspired by the likes of Nick Cave, Depeche Mode and The Smiths, among others, Mountain Climer builds a rather personal sonic universe, blending seemingly chaotic and saturated tone with a certain poignancy – perhaps channelling some emo vibes too.
Deeply informed by Climer’s own personal struggles, ‘Let the Blood Flow’ could be seen as a tool for growth and therapy – an expressive outlet for its author, and hopefully for any listeners out there able to relate to it. We are confident the EP will find its crowd, offering a musical journey that goes beyond classic escapism and entertainment, instead jumping into healing energy and resilience.
