Moonroof Shares Latest Indie Jewel ‘Bad For Me’

We are pretty impressed with Moonroof’s track record; boasting millions of streams on Spotify alone, the project has all the looks of an upcoming entity about to blow up. True, they have been at it for a few years, but their material seems to get better and better with every release. Latest effort ‘Bad For Me’ confirms it. A fierce, catchy slice of indie rock with exquisitely pop lyricism, the record is as bright and addictive as one could imagine.

Leaving ample space for the vocals, the track stays pretty minimal during verses, evolving during the choruses with spacious guitar tones and cute harmonies. There’s also a hint of college punk in it, although at a slower pace. Such a quirky concoction makes the track quite nostalgic, yet extremely contemporary, appealing to a wide range of listeners out there.

Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Bad For Me’, Moonroof explains: “It is about an argument between your brain and making rational decisions. On one hand you’re consistently falling into bad patterns and on the other, you’re self-aware of these bad habits”.
