Mitch & Millie Share Meaningful Music Video for ‘Little Town’

There’s something truly special and evocative in ‘Little Town’. Built on a deeply anthemic sonic livery, the song captures the listeners instantly, taking them into Mitch & Millie’s meaningful and empowering songwriting universe. Celebrating resilience in the face of adversities, ‘Little Town’ delves into Millie’s troubled past, a painful personal history riddled with abuse and personal loss.

Hailing from New York, the pair have been showcasing their nuanced and complex artistry a fair few times already, but with ‘Little Town’ we feel as though they have reached their best effort to date, packing an intense, slow-burn instrumental with charming and heart-shaking lyricism. Production duties were given to Will Baker and three-time Grammy winner Earl Cohen, who did an excellent job alongside Mitch & Millie. The overall vibe is pretty modern, yet there’s a whiff of retro, 80s-flavoured glam rock and AOR.

Crucially, ‘Little Town’ has been given a poignant music video, depicting the tragic history surrounding Millie’s upbringing. As we are told: “The video transports viewers to a town similar to where she grew up. Shot in Roanoke, Virginia, its dark, cinematic visuals reflect the darkness in her life at the time.”
