Emerging from the NYC area, Mirrors On The Moon combines fuzziness and dreaminess in their latest single, ‘Don’t Panic’. The track is a stunning slice of ballad rock, catering to both a specialized audience and the general public. You see, the rock lovers will rejoice in the classic-lenient guitar work, while the more uneducated listeners will lose themselves in the poignant lyricism, so intense and catchy yet still elegant.
The chorus is particularly strong, so much to have stuck with us for a few hours after our first listen. A fantastic effort by Mirrors On The Moon, who drops on our music radar with charisma and good taste. Taken from the band’s upcoming album, ‘Don’t Panic’ confirms the class and nuanced artistry enjoyed by the group.
Describing the lyrical inspiration behind the song, cancer survivor and head honcho Dykowsky explains: “I just try to find the truth and set it to music, and my truth is different now than from a hospital bed or toxic relationships. At the same time, I have a 30,000-foot perspective on where I’ve been, and I can find peace in the journey. These songs have a certain weight to them, and hopefully, the performance is sincere enough that you can find truth in them as well.”
