Blissfulness. Floating in a timeless, malleable universe where we are free to wander around, pursuing our inner spirituality. Searching for that topic moment, where everything makes sense. Reckoning with a life-changing realization.
That’s what was going through our minds while listening to multidisciplinary artist Oscar Vinter’s latest record, ‘Dispositif’. A stunning piece of leftfield electronica infused with avant-garde aesthetic and general eclecticism. A pretty genre-less EP, aiming at exploring Vinter’s kaleidoscopic artistry.
Describing ‘Dispositifs’, we are told: “Inspired in part by Minimalist music, Dispositifs is a collection of 5 linear pieces which evolve and are centred on different intensities, feelings and emotions.” It’s this explorative branch of electronica that drives the music forward. Vinter, together with fellow explorers (think Lorenzo Senni, Astrid Sonne, Caterina Barbieri) is effectively breaking musical barriers, creating the premise for a better future listening experience.
Essentially, Vinter is shaping the future. Thank you for your artistry.
