Matt Warren Makes a Roaring Return on ‘Flight at the End’

Cheshire-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Matt Warren recently unleashed his brand new tune ‘Flight at the End’, and it’s one of the catchiest and most dynamic little tracks that I’ve heard all year! An edgy, synthy, indie-rock banger, ‘Flight at the End’ serves as the first electrifying glimpse into Matt’s upcoming concept album ‘Excited to Die’, an album that he wrote, produced, and recorded in just three weeks! “After years of trying to write things that I thought other people might like, I made something that I like,” he says. “Without worrying about anything else”. This newfound sense of artistic liberation allowed the artist to tap into his unfiltered creativity, and I think that’s what makes the song so special!

With an eclectic mix of influences; The Beatles, Eels, Weezer, Aimee Mann, and Fountains of Wayne to name just a few, Warren has concocted a unique and genuine sound. He effortlessly pays homage to his musical inspirations while carving out an undeniably fresh and captivating sonic territory all of his own.

Vocally, Matt could be the lovechild of Benjamin Ian Kowalewicz (Billy Talent) and Tobias Forge (Ghost), a comparison I intend as the highest compliment! I can’t get enough of ‘Flight at the End’, and eagerly anticipate hearing what Warren gets up to next!
