Marshall Fassino Returns with ‘Promised Land’

There’s something refreshing in Marshall Fassino’s latest effort, ‘Promised Land’. Perhaps it is the overall fuzziness the track seems to be enjoying, or the record’s overall witty and melancholic vibe. What we are able to confirm, is that the single is almost irresistible, wrapping the listener in wholesome vibes and fierce artistry. Driven by Fassino’s charming vocals, ‘Promised Land’ balances over blues rock territories, while keeping its eclecticism at a valuable level.

Sonically, the piece ends up being quite hypnotising, mainly to the constant organ drone accompanying the saturated guitars and elegant drums. It’s the perfect environment for Fassino’s luscious and memorable vocal tone, driving the track forward with authority and nonchalance. Taken from Marshall’s upcoming album ‘Ways I Used To Feel’, ‘Promised Land’ is entirely written and produced by Fassino himself.

Calling Nashville his home, the American creative is on a mission to deliver wholesome and meaningful music, something that is clear he is very capable of. Delving into his upcoming album, Fassino explains: “It’s a body of work that strives to be taken seriously, and in an industry dominated by “artists” trying to trigger an algorithm, ‘Ways I Used To Feel’ plants its flag firmly alongside albums like the greats once made.”
