Texas-based Mark Winters is not only a singer/songwriter, but also a bonafide rocket scientist. Winters has a degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering and often his math and science background helps him manoeuvre his musical explorations. Using his keen eye for observation, he takes apart complex subject matters like emotions and expresses them in a way that’s easy to grasp. His songs are usually about life and love which general audiences everywhere can appreciate.
Winters has just released his latest single ‘I See You.’ It is a rollicking acoustic track that strings along driven acoustic guitars. Winters’ compelling vocals eventually join the fray, and the vibes were intoxicating. A lot of times, the music reminded me of The Beatles. There was something very classic about this track that I enjoyed. The piano and percussion in the background provided a bed of warm acoustics that sounded really great.
Winters shows us that he has what it takes. His music feels very genuine and I can tell he throws everything he’s got into his music, giving us a very up-close-and-personal performance. His delivery felt heartfelt and honest as his warm vocals washed over us. There’s no doubt about it – his music is impactful and provides that extra punch that all great music needs. This was an energetic single with great potential and I look forward to seeing more from this artist soon!
