Debuting only last year, Manchester indie outfit Sleeping Together have quickly showcased themselves as one of the most interesting newcomers, showcasing a radio-ready sound that’s a testament to their musical prowess and refined taste. The last we heard of them was the release of ‘Money & Nicotine’, back in October. Together with debut effort ‘Summer Girl’, the track painted a very clear picture about the punch, energy and intentions of the British risers.
Now, Sleeping Together returns with ‘Time To Reflect’, the newest chapter in the group’s evolution. Keeping true to their style so far, the record is an indie masterclass, championing an anthemic and glorious chorus in between sparse and understated verses. Their guitar work is notable, blending indie sleaziness with fuzzy distortion.
Lyrically, the song seeks to capture the feeling of getting lost in a relationship and learning from it. Frontman Alexander reflects upon a past relationship and the importance of keeping a sense of independence while in love.
We are excited to witness the impact Sleeping Together will make on the Indie scene. With polished production and thoughtful lyrics, we are confident that the group will continue to make waves in the music industry. So, if you’re looking for some good vibes and catchy riffs, be sure to check out Sleeping Together!
