Overall, dancy beats and bright soundscapes seem to be the preferred medium, resulting in a spacious, ethereal album, the perfect outlet for escapism and reflections.
What’s impressive, is how the Nashville-based talent manages to write and produce everything by herself, without external filters or misplaced hands. What reaches the listener is the true essence of Madebit’s artistry, her unadulterated vision. As she explains: “I’m really inspired by those crazy but fearless artists who stand at the helm of their recordings – those who take on the challenge of writing, producing, and performing an album for the sheer joy of artistic expression.
