Luke Boor Constructs an Indie-Rock Showpiece with ‘Queens’

Telling a story of heartbreak on the New York City subway, ‘Queens’ is the brand new indie-rock smash from Nashville-based singer/songwriter Luke Boor. Written during the tough times he experienced living in The Big Apple during the pandemic, it’s a deeply personal tune that Luke has only been comfortable releasing now. “Now that things are better, hopefully, it makes sense to return to music,” he says. “To return to a song that’s always been special.” The juxtaposition between the track’s heavy thematics and its soundscape could not be more striking and, as strange as it seems to label a tune this like as upbeat and infectious, I simply must!

Expertly produced and containing Western frontier-style guitars, ‘Queens’ will have you singing along to it in no time! Luke’s vocal performance is outstanding, and he showcases superb range and control, finding the perfect balance between raw emotion and polished melodies. It really is a faultless track.

After a musical hiatus since 2015, Boor is now back with a bang. ‘Queens’ follows his previous single ‘Change’, released just a few months ago, and the musician has promised us that there’s a lot more where that came from! We can’t wait!

Serious tune alert! Enjoy ‘Queens’ on Spotify now:
