While such a theme is rather deep and heavy on its own, Lucy gives it a shining and bubbly pop contour, helping the track become more of a fierce and proud anthem, wrapped in energetic electro-pop and evocative vocals.
Speaking about the record, Crisp explains: “I’ve always wanted to create a nostalgic modern synth-pop song that allows my fans to either dance, break objects in a rage room, or both. More importantly, I want my fans to get lost in the upbeat rhythms and feel free to express themselves and their emotions however they want to.”
