Love Ghost Maintains his Energetic Sound on ‘Veneno’

My first introduction to Los Angeles-based alternative singer/songwriter Love Ghost was ‘Jealousy’, a hard-hitting and gritty tune that instantly resonated with me. I’ve been patiently waiting for the follow-up ever since, and the artist hasn’t let me down! Introducing ‘Veneno’, Ghost’s brand new collaboration with rising Mexican superstar Blnko. Fusing Blnko’s “contenido emo-kawaii” with Ghost’s “emo trap rock” style, it’s a track that, genre-wise, slots somewhere in between Latin rock and American pop-punk. With lyrics sung in Spanish and English respectively, the pair complement one another perfectly, and it feels like a match made in heaven!

I previously praised Love Ghost’s intense, heart-on-sleeve music, and I feel it’s only fair to do the same for Blnko. Passionate, fiery, and superb. These are two genuine and authentic artists right in front of us, and you can feel it deep in your bones.

With plans to work alongside former Marilyn Manson collaborator Tim Skold and acclaimed record producer Mike Summers (Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Eminem), Love Ghost is here to stay. It’s extremely exciting latching on to an artist who you just “get”. You’re always waiting to hear from them again! Ghost hasn’t let me down before, and I doubt he has any plans to going forward!
