We have already spent a sizeable amount of words on Love Ghost, and it always feels like observing a popstar slowly blowing up and conquering a well-deserved space in the international music landscape. Originally from the US, Finnegan Bell – the human behind the project – has been spending the last couple of years in Mexico City, making a name for himself in the local scene.
Being able to collaborate with some of the most exciting Latin artists has transformed Love Ghost into an international cultural hub, at least for what concerns the Western music industry – he’s effectively bridging the gap between two languages, Spanish and English, which overwhelmingly dominate the global commercial space.
‘GOD DAMN’ is Love Ghost’s latest effort, a hip-hop anthem tinged by a melancholic, emo character – a constant feature in the project’s extensive catalogue. A collaborative work with Mexican riser ND KOBI, ‘GOD DAMN’ also signals an upcoming album produced by Shantra. In other words, Love Ghost is just getting started!
