Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, the American group keeps it quite simple and doesn’t lose themselves in elegant press statements or intricate origin tales. Instead, their records speak volumes.
‘Telephone’ – LoConti’s latest effort – is the perfect evidence of it. Packed with uplifting, euphoric indie energy and rumbling guitars, the single finds the perfect compromise between its groovy character and its whimsical, elegant tones, making for a track that’s vibrant yet expansive. Their vocals are up top the job too, especially when focused on catchy, playful lyricism and anthemic, relatable choruses.
LoConti have not reinvented the wheel. They have perfected it.
