Hailing from the vibrant and artistic area of Camden Town, Little Wasters is an up-and-coming four-piece outfit we believe could very well blow up anytime now. Since last year’s debut single ‘Beachside Hotel’, the band has been diligently putting out tunes – and recently chose to round off 2024 with an absolute gem in the form of ‘I Want You (For Someone)’.
Yet more heart-thumping and gripping indie-rock goodness, ‘I Want You’ builds itself up expertly before reaching its anthemic crescendo with a ridiculously infectious chorus. Raw, bold, and filled with heartfelt passion, Little Wasters’ latest offering is proof of an act mastering their craft. It’s got the precise blend of energy and emotion – and feels like the perfect way to cap off a year and maintain momentum going into the next.
A track about love, rejection, and self-acceptance, ‘I Want You’ will no doubt appeal to fans of outfits like Arctic Monkeys, Fontaines D.C., and Stereophonics. That’s the special thing about Little Wasters in my humble opinion…They’re not chasing trends. Rather, they’re looking to redefine them.
