A triumph of dazzling synthwave energy, ‘Let Go’ is a decisively attractive number. Introduced by a glorious cascade of synths goodness, reminiscent of the 80s but with a distinctively modern outlook, the track then jumps into simil-new wave territories, highlighted by Lindy Vision‘s raw and sleazy vocals, often in-between singing and spoken words. The result is an expansive and vibrant anthem, one that doesn’t let the listener down.
It certainly doesn’t let us go. Aptly titled, ‘Let Go’ is packed with tons of nostalgia and evocative energy, keeping us wanting more note after note. Produced by Alex Simon (Tone Ranger), the track was developed collaboratively with Santa Fe’s Animalia Music team. Lindy Vision are instead based in Albuquerque.
Speaking about the inspiration behind such an impressive single, Lindy Vision explain: “It takes ownership over the body and celebrates its power to move through and beyond the shackles of domestic life.” ‘Let Go’ also features a stunning music video, directed by Brandom Martinez.
