Lily Pierce Calls for Resilience in ‘Stuck Here, Writing Sad Songs’

Lily Pierce might be stuck writing sad songs, but at least she’s writing damn good ones! The NYC-based songstress is one of the industry’s best-kept secrets, oscillating between bold, vibrant anthems and melancholic gems, always keeping a relatable outlook that makes her palatable to a wide audience. Gearing up for a busy year, Pierce’s latest effort ‘Stuck Here, Writing Sad Songs’ follows up after months of silence, reaffirming Lily’s starking, wholesome artistry.

As one would expect, the record is as good as they come. Built over pop-rock euphoria, the song particularly highlights Pierce’s evocative, charming vocals, sharing an introspective tale of nostalgia and resilience. Empowering the keen listeners into moving on to the next glorious chapter of their lives, ‘Stuck Here, Writing Sad Songs’ provides a cathartic experience, using a romantic setup as compelling imagery for a meaningful message.

Plus, the single is incredibly catchy and certainly well-produced. Originally from Philadelphia, Pierce is a multi-disciplinary entity, having dipped her toes in acting, before focusing on music. Currently working with the likes of Lawrence Vocal Studio, Matt Anthony (Engine Sound Studios) and J Chris Griffin (Engine Room Audio), we are thrilled to see Lily’s career bloom into a global phenomenon. It’s just a matter of time.
