Not long ago, I fell in love with a tune called ‘Change is Here’. Courtesy of Leti, a Swedish London-based singer/songwriter, the alternative-pop track was just too hopeful and optimistic to ignore! I’m extremely excited to say that she has now returned with ‘Orpheus’, an atmospheric and soothing song that showcases Leti’s musical versatility and adaptability. Drawing inspiration from the enduring Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, the artist creates a spellbindingly ethereal and captivating tune with a deep and powerful message. “Don’t look back like Orpheus did,” she says. “Keep going without questioning the choices of the past and trust life and love”.
With its ambient and soul-stirring essence, it’s a track that envelops the listener in a warm embrace. Skilfully merging delicate piano and airy synths, Leti’s enchanting new single invites us to delve inward and discover the treasures, emotions, and aspirations that lie within. Just beautiful!
It’s wonderful to be able to follow a talented musician who keeps getting better and more confident with each release. I mentioned last time that Leti is a serious force to be reckoned with in the UK music scene, and ‘Orpheus’ only enhances that reputation further. She’ll be leading a Songwriting circle at Glastonbury Festival later this year so if you’re lucky enough to be there, go and check it out!
Serious tune alert! Enjoy ‘Orpheus’ on Spotify now:
