Let Moon and Aries take You Into Blissful Territories with ‘Knots’

In the space of a couple of years, Moon and Aries have become synonyms with a certain brand of dreamy, anthemic and luscious pop, often drenched in electronica and synthwave vibes. An international duo, the project glows thanks to the stunning vocals of Jordana Moon – talented vocalist based in Canada – and the dazzling, ethereal production of German producer Tom Aries. Having already hosted the pair on our blog earlier this year, we are pretty familiar with their work. ‘Resolution’ had us in awe, a rather poignant and nostalgic piece with a knack for intensity and relatability.

‘Knots’ is the project’s latest effort, a more hypnotising and slow-paced offering, exploring the full width of action of the duo’s electronic abilities. Built as a more conventional pop number, the record seems to be speaking to a larger audience, flourishing into a glorious and cinematic chorus that works wonders in showcasing Jordana’s vocal talents.

Describing the lyrical inspiration behind the track, Moon and Aries explain: “Having too many KNOTS can lead to a short rope. And if you want to climb a mountain, wouldn`t it be better if the rope was endless, always there to assist you with every reach? From the very first seconds, this song takes you into a confronting and liberating universe. Step by step, untying knot by knot, know you are worth what is on the other side of the mountain.”
