Leo Vann Unveils Introspective Gem ‘The Game’

We were uniquely impressed by ‘The Game’. A nuanced, expansive piece, the track finds its unmistakable identity in the multitude of textures and noisy, liquid beats, creating a sonic imprint that’s cathartic and evocative. Crowning it all, we find Leo Vann’s three-dimensional vocals, wrapping the listeners in spiritual, otherwordly energy, an overall experience that’s sublime and healing.

Crafted with the help of GRAMMY-nominated producer Mikko Gordon, ‘The Game’ anticipates Vann’s upcoming album ‘IN COLOR’. It’s certainly an important milestone for Theo: having built a loyal online audience thanks to his unique real-time visual art, he’s now transforming his obvious creative talent into a multi-disciplinary endeavour, revealing the true magnitude of his musical vision.

Speaking about the lyricism in ‘The Game’, the Texan-based artist explains: “It is a very personal song for me. I wrote it to myself really, I used it as a way to talk myself through a period of grief and the ground falling out from beneath me. A little bit of acceptance, a little bit of frustration and a lot of anxiety – it’s like a messy, contradictory goodbye letter then a big smirk when you finally shrug your shoulders and get on with it.”
