Building its sonic identity on groovy rhythms and soulful synthetisers, the single encapsulates all of the emotional and passionate energy the London-based songstress has to offer, weaving a malleable tapestry of vocal harmonies and heavenly textures.
Crowning it all, we find Ladylucci’s modulating vocals, engaging in complex melodies with ever-evolving intensity. Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, she explains: “I wanted to explore and celebrate the concept of freedom, especially from the perspective of the extremely frustrating and limiting period during 2020’s pandemic, when this song was written.”
