One of our favourite French discoveries, La Biche can be described as an extremely hypnotising and edgy songstress, delivering material that balances over electronica, trip-hop and R&B. The result is a stream of sonic goodness, crowned by La Biche’s evocative and mesmerising vocals, often sung in French. It all makes for a very memorable listening experience.
‘Éther’ is the project’s latest effort, a minimal gem built on sparse beats and deep textures. Such a jewel! La Biche’s intimate and soft vocals find themselves drenched in harmonies and long reverbs, helping the record reach a more futuristic and contemporary outlook.
