Surprisingly, KDX does not hail from the likes of Detroit or Philadelphia – instead, he’s much closer to us, calling Galway and Ireland his home.
Well, geography aside, the record is damn convincing! ‘MC MILITANT’ builds its foundation on a passive trap loop, providing bouncy and melancholic vibes while keeping ample room for KDX’s evocative and prophetic lyricism, often exploring personal experiences and urban hardship.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the records, the Irish talent explains: “The record came to life after performing at Electric Picnic, I wanted an aggressive energy something to jump to while hearing my message the lyrics always stand out for me, my goal in music is to provide a sense of release and that can come in any shape or form”.
