Kärma Sounds Shares Inspiring Message in ‘Getting Better’

We couldn’t write about ‘Getting Better’ without highlighting the single’s inspiring and authentic roots. Penned by Canadian songstress Kärma Sounds, the record draws inspiration from its author’s personal experience with social services and charities, sharing a call to resilience and motivation; even during challenging times, one must remember that change is possible, and fully achievable.

‘Getting Better’ carries that exact message, packaging it in an extraordinarily luscious and contemporary pop production, with the occasional RnB reference. It’s a song that matters, both musically and lyrically. On one side, we get to enjoy Kärma Sounds evocative, intimate and malleable vocals, hypnotising the listeners with their soulful and jazzy character. On the other, we are able to renew our commitment towards positivity and personal improvements.

A collaboration with acclaimed producer Chin Injeti (Drake, Pink, Eminem), ‘Getting Better’ places another milestone in the Vancouver-based talent’s career, one that won’t be easily forgotten (at least by Mesmerized). Speaking about the message behind the song, Kärma Sounds explain: “Born from personal experiences working with single mothers at a local shelter, and a commitment to supporting and raising awareness to the most vulnerable people in our society”.
