‘Forever Is Finite’ is the eclectic and bold debut EP from up-and-coming singer/songwriter and producer Kailey Tenn. Based in Long Island, New York, the young musician takes us on a journey of healing and self-discovery through five unique and heartfelt tunes. As she explores the concept of forever, and how it evolves and transforms throughout our life, Kailey shares her personal story of finding growth and new beginnings as opposed to endings and conclusions. “‘Forever Is Finite covers a wide range of emotions commonly experienced on a healing journey,” she says. “Each song is a dedication to different facets of that emotional voyage”.
The EP’s opener ‘Happier’ is a beautiful and expertly constructed piano-led gem. Richly layered, intensely moving, and featuring a vocal performance that captivates you immediately, it’s the perfect track to get things underway. ‘1772’ then follows, and it sees Tenn going down a more poppy and rocky avenue, serving as a prime example of her outstanding versatility.
‘Just Another Day’, ‘Spotify’, and ‘I’m Not Your Friend’ make up the remainder of ‘Forever Is Finite’ and, without giving too much away, each adds a distinct brushstroke to the vivid canvas that is Kailey’s EP. A debut of the highest order, she is undoubtedly an artist worth keeping an eye (and an ear) on!
