Joshua Ketchmark Releases New Music Video For ‘Deadliest Thing’

Joshua Ketchmark is a Nashville-based guitarist and singer/songwriter who I stumbled upon last year. First, it was his hauntingly beautiful tune ‘Death Trap‘, and then came the more energetic and upbeat ‘No Stopping Us‘. Both tracks feature on Ketchmark’s full-length album ‘Blood’, and today I want to dive into another of the record’s songs with ‘Deadliest Thing’. Exploring themes of loss, heartbreak, and, as Josh puts it, “the irreplaceable nature of certain moments in our lives”, it’s yet another perfect example of the artist’s unmatched storytelling and lyrical prowess. It’s honest, warm, authentic, and simply gorgeous! Just what I’ve come to expect from the gifted musician.

Influenced by heavyweights like Queen, The Beatles, John Mellencamp, and Tom Petty, Ketchmark is a pure indie musician in every sense of the word. Composing, producing, engineering, and mixing everything himself, he makes music on his own terms. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; His commitment, dedication, and determination cannot be questioned!

‘Blood’ was undoubtedly one of my favourite albums to be released last year. With twelve exceptional tunes that showcased Joshua’s musical growth and development, it solidified his status as a groundbreaking artist who deserves every music lover’s attention!

Serious tune and video alert! Enjoy ‘Deadliest Thing’ on Spotify and YouTube now:
