Joshua Ketchmark Comes of Age with ‘No Stopping Us’

Not long ago, I was introduced to Nashville-based guitarist and singer/songwriter Joshua Ketchmark. I’d fallen in love with his tune ‘Death Trap’ from his tenth studio album ‘Blood’, and I’m now honoured to speak about the album’s opener ‘No Stopping Us’. A song about coming of age, ‘No Stopping Us’ takes a more upbeat and energetic approach when compared to ‘Death Trap’. Ketchmark again displays his guitar-playing prowess, effortlessly switching between jangly riffs and more intimate strums. His vocal performance is, once again, stellar, and his honesty and authenticity are undeniable.

Like all of the tracks from ‘Blood’, ‘No Stopping Us’ was composed, produced, engineered, and mixed by Ketchmark. I think this is a big reason that I’ve been so drawn to him as an artist. His commitment, dedication, and determination cannot be questioned. He is now entering his fifteenth year as a solo artist and shows absolutely no signs of slowing down.

It’s great to see Ketchmark starting to rack up some serious Spotify listening numbers. His latest album has over 193,000 plays, and I get the feeling that 2023 will be the year that the world finally stands up and takes notice of Joshua Ketchmark.
