That’s what makes artists special beings, their ability to be honest and fragile in their creative outputs. Joey Miceli fits this concept perfectly, releasing an authentic and vulnerable song that’s packed with soothing energy and emotional energy.
‘String of Pearls’ builds its unique character on intimate folk-pop, featuring a feathery acoustic guitar and a light tapestry of electronic textures. Amidst this bucolic and ethereal sonic setting, Miceli’s evocative and poignant vocals flourish in all their majestic qualities, guiding the record towards acceptance, self-healing and personal resolution. Hailing from Las Vegas, Joey worked on the track with fellow creative Santino Cardinale.
A truly honest effort, Miceli finally reconciles with the heartbreaking pain caused by his past relationship ending, practising positivity and resilience with a hopeful eye to the future.
