Jesse Lynn Madera Returns with Delicate New Single ‘Last Call’

“Luscious, sensual, and electrifying” was how our very own Gabriel Mazza described Jesse Lynn Madera’s previous single ‘Austin’. The Nashville-based singer/songwriter has been steadily building a solid fanbase for herself ever since 2019, and today I am proud to introduce you to ‘Last Call’, the artist’s latest single.

Teaming up with folk music icon Dan Navarro, (first cousin of Dave Navarro) Jesse delivers a wistful and tender exploration of enduring love and the lessons learned from its inevitable ebbs and flows. Over delicate piano, courtesy of John Thomas (Bruce Hornsby), and soulful bass from Sebastian Steinberg (Fiona Apple), Jesse and Dan’s majestic vocal harmonies create pure magic together.

“Our voices blended so well that we just ran with it for the entire song,” said Madera. “Getting to write a song with Dan was a gift. Not only did he co-write my first favourite song ‘We Belong’ with his late partner Eric Lowen, but he also brought such a kind, unguarded presence to the work we did together”.

‘Last Call’ is Jesse’s second offering from her forthcoming album ‘Speed of Sound’. Scheduled for release on March the 15th, it’s a record that we’re seriously excited about hearing!
