If there’s something that jumps to mind instantly when listening to ‘Colors of Youth’, is the quality of its production. Channelling modern indie-pop vibes, the track is a nugget of bright and groovy stylings, with a stack of eclectic beats that makes the ending a pretty eclectic section. Add to that Jesse Judies’ warm and charming vocals, and you’ve got an absolute banger.
How could it not be? The Sydney-based producer and songwriter has spent the last few years working on his personal artistry, developing a project that feels relatable, contemporary and highly catchy. The result can be heard on ‘Colors of Youth’, and frankly we are mightily impressed by it. Furthermore, the single anticipates a larger upcoming album, ‘Coup De Foudre’.
Speaking about the song’s lyricism, Judies explain how much it’s soaked in introspection and personal experience, adding that it “tells the story of uprooting myself from a familiar life in San Francisco to begin anew in Sydney, Australia.” We are looking forward to seeing him bloom into a global powerhouse.
