The keen reader might remember vibrant songwriter and singer JB Elwood. Now, the talented creative has returned with yet another convincing offering. ‘Right Here’ features the same vivid, relatable lyrical flair as its predecessor, packing an energetic, all-out chorus and more nuanced, poignant verses.
Rock-flavoured guitars give way to a traditional country-rock identity, although that’s a strong point in this case: JB Elwood is like an old friend, one we can always rely on. Constant, steady and unwavering.
