‘Electronic Symphonic’ is an album that I’ve been patiently waiting for since the beginning of this year, and I’m extremely stoked that it’s finally arrived! We fell in love with electro-pop artist Jay Roecker’s singles ‘Pour On Me’ and ‘A New Day For You’, and both feature on his unforgettable new album. ‘Pour On Me’ actually gets things underway, and I can’t think of a better tune to kick off proceedings. The upbeat, danceable, and synth-filled track gets you in the mood instantly and is the perfect setup for the album’s second song ‘The House’, which takes a different sonic path. Less danceable and more introspective, it shows another side of the Texas-based musician and illustrates his versatility and flexibility.
‘A New Day For You’, now with over 67,000 plays on Spotify, is the album’s third tune. It’s so good to hear it again – I forgot just how powerful, impassioned, and sonically rich a track it is! Proudly displaying Jay’s love for today’s modern new-wave synth revolution, it’s a song that, I believe, could take the musician to the next level.
‘Mi Amor / I Had a Dream’ and ‘Thicker Than Blood’ are two more tune’s that touched something within me. ‘Electronic Symphonic’ was certainly worth the wait, and it’s an album I can see myself spinning for quite some time!
