Jane Honor Shares Relatable Anthem ‘If It Doesn’t End’

Fully embracing the modern trend of ‘pessimistic dating’, Jane Honor struggles to remain positive even with the evidence of a functioning relationship. Weighting doubts and expectations, the Los Angeles-based creative pens a song that navigates such ambiguity, ‘If It Doesn’t End’; lovable and poignant on one side, dicey and insecure on the other. We are confident we can all relate to that!

Built over a dreamy, hazy blend of indie and pop matter, the record moves with smoothness and sweetness through a crepuscular arrangement, empowering Honor’s evocative and luscious vocals towards their best self. Jane’s chilled and casual delivery reminds us of the likes of Lana Del Rey, among others. The two certainly share a healthy slice of melancholia.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the single, the talented songstress explains: “It conveys the feeling of discovering a perfect person while recognizing the potential for heartbreak with the line ‘this could be fun, if it doesn’t end.’”
