Bringing nostalgic and poignant vibes to our troubled world, American singer and songwriter Jake Potter is a new face in the Country and Americana scene. Debuting earlier this month with ‘Virginia Is For Losers’, he was able to showcase a sound that’s already as mature as they come, both in terms of musicianship and lyricism. Over a heavenly instrumental background made up of steel guitars, sleazy drums and acoustic goodness, we find Potter’s gritty yet gentle vocals, delivering inspired storytelling, exploring personal experiences and past encounters.
The track act as a springboard for Jake’s debut EP, due in October. We’ll be waiting for it! Honest, heartfelt music – a welcome break from the mainstream soup we get served every day.
