Indolore is a name that some readers and listeners may already be familiar with. Having been in the game since 2014, the Parisian singer/songwriter and folk artist has garnered millions of plays on Spotify with tunes like ‘Je Rêve D’é’ and ‘Let Me Find Out’. Today, I’d like to introduce you to ‘Way Home’, the musician’s latest single that pays homage to what he calls, “the decor of my adult life” – the city of Paris.
A beautifully tender soft-rock piece, the track sees Indolore being joined by a plethora of amazing artists who help craft his vision into a melodic and fragile masterpiece. With a vocal performance that’s as delicate as it is emotive, Indolore invites us into his world, and one feels privileged to be there.
Last May, the musician headed to Nashville where he recorded an EP alongside Jack Lawrence and Andrija Tokic. Lawrence is best known as the bassist for The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather, while Tokic is a Grammy-nominated producer best known for his worth with Alabama Shakes. Not bad company to keep if you ask me!
I’m certainly not the first to laud the artistry of Indolore, and I have no doubt that I won’t be the last. Here’s to many more!
