Hospital Class Present Fuzzy and Catchy New Track ‘DRUNK DRIVING’

Last year was an extremely productive one for the bold and eclectic Ohio-based outfit Hospital Class. We were fortunate enough to cover the band’s previous single ‘WHITE HOT GASOLINE‘ – proudly declaring it a “banging blend of indie rock playfulness and bluesy rowdiness, together with a punch of Americana and Country energy”. We stand firmly behind our words!

‘DRUNK DRIVING’ is a track the act unleashed early last month, and sent them into the new year with roaring momentum and undeniable swagger. Pulling sonic inspiration from the likes of Neil Young and Big Thief, ‘DRUNK DRIVING’ sees Hospital Class transforming classic fuzzy and dissonant guitar riffs into something fresh and unique.

Similar to ‘WHITE HOT GASOLINE’, ‘DRUNK DRIVING’ also leans into alternative country territories, and that’s where said swagger comes into play. It’s gritty and infectious, and brings forth a powerful message regarding substance abuse.

“It (substance abuse) can have very straining effects on relationships, and the song also highlights the ignorance that tends to happen from people under the influence of alcohol,” says the band’s frontman Simon Sengun.

An instant classic! I can’t wait to hear from these fellas again!
