Holy Fool Returns with Grunge-Infused Banger ‘On A Sunday’

Scottish actor and musician Lorne MacFayden is still what many would describe as an up-and-comer in the music scene, but the future is looking seriously bright! Performing under the moniker Holy Fool, his first three singles have received significant streams, and Lorne now returns with a brand new banger in the form of ‘On A Sunday’.

A garage-tinted and grunge-infused summery anthem, ‘On A Sunday’ is a punchy and energetic little number. It’s a little raw in places, reminiscent of early Nirvana, but finds the perfect balance between grit and melody. As it channels the spirit of the 90s grunge era, it also carves out its own unique identity, feeling both familiar yet fresh and innovative simultaneously.

“In an age of overstimulation and sensory overload, it’s about mixing things up,” says Holy Fool. “Less swipe across of the etch-o-sketch and more about lobbing it into a fire and coming to your senses”.

Offering us a first glimpse into Holy Fool’s forthcoming debut album, ‘On A Sunday’ sees Lorne working alongside London-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Joshua Woolf to concoct the tune. We can’t wait to hear more from this extremely gifted artist!
