Greg Bounce Shares Music Video for Bucolic Jewel ‘Thank You’

There’s something inherently special about Greg Bounce’s eclectic gem ‘Thank You’. Taken from his latest EP ‘Frango Magic’, released earlier in May, the track is mellow, yet intense. Soulful, yet fully present. Introduced by dreamy chords and bucolic harmonies, the record builds a refined and nuanced sonic framework where Bounce’s vocals can fully flourish. Among a minimal arrangement, constantly modulating to control poignancy and expressivity, Greg’s warm vocal tone finds its perfect home. Echoing the likes of Bon Iver and James Blake, ‘Thank You’ also boasts a strong cinematic flair, especially in the final crescendo.

Being the song so special, Greg Bounce decided to give it a second life, shooting a worthy music video. It’s magical because we can sense that the track was made for this exact purpose. By joining the aural and visual aspects, the British native crowns his eclectic artistry, showcasing a strong awareness of his own potential.

Shot by Manchester-based filmmaker Charles Leek, the footage involves Bounce wandering around nature in Rivington Pike, an ethereal hill near Bolton and Manchester. A simple concept, beautifully executed.
