Glass Cabin Produce a Rich and Bold New EP with ‘Glass Cabin 2’

My love for Nashville’s musical offerings has officially reached new heights. Please give a big welcome to Glass Cabin, a duo consisting of singer/songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Jess Brown and David Flint. Brown has written tunes for some of country music’s biggest stars, while Flint was a founding member of the famed country act Billy Montana & the Long Shots, so this is by no means the duo’s first rodeo. And it shows! Their latest EP is a rich and immersive eight-track offering that expertly blends elements of country with rock and Glass Cabin’s unique take on Americana.

The anthemic ‘I Wanna Live’ kicks the EP off and it’s the perfect start to proceedings. Lively, infectious, and full of heart, it’s a song that sticks with you long after your first listen. ‘Weary Man’ then follows with a bold and foot-tapping sound, and I’m beginning to fall deeply in love with Brown’s Eddie Vedder-esque vocals.

‘Closing Down the Bars’ takes things down a notch and is a truly beautiful little tune. The duo’s knack for writing ridiculously memorable choruses is something rarely witnessed, and there’s honestly a little something for everyone to sonically love on this EP. Do yourself a favour and give it a listen!
