Gaby Duboisjoli Unveils Sultry EP ‘Feel Me’

It’s been a busy, intense year for Gaby Duboisjoli. A year that marked her artistic comeback, the triumph of her bold, sultry sonic identity. After a series of catchy singles, the London-based songstress now unveils an extensive body of work, the wonderful EP ‘Feel Me’. In it, keen listeners will be able to fully immerse themselves in Duboisjoli’s steamy and seductive lyricism, delivered with strong elegance and evocative flair.

Self-describing the project as ‘electro-cabaret’, the French-born creative seems to have fully realized her artistic vision. After a few years developing her crafts at Tileyard London, Gaby focused on an eclectic blend of electronic pop and soulful stylings, even echoing traces of crooning and Moulin Rouge-flavoured charisma (something that gracefully ties with her parents’ role as cancan soloists at the iconic Parisian landmark).

Episodes such as ‘Naughty Thoughts’ are steeped in modernity and edginess, while ‘Make Me Feel’ could be considered more traditional. Overall, it appears as if ‘Feel Me’ represents the arrival point of a lifelong musical commitment. That’s why the EP is so expansive and sui generis. Duboisjoli borrows from past experiences and different personal ‘eras’ to deliver her Magnus Opus, if you will. However, we are confident this is only the beginning.

Fellow creatives FHUR and Minimums contribute to the record by remixing ‘Naughty Thoughts’ and ‘Say Please’, respectively. Speaking about the lyricism in ‘Feel Me’ Gaby explains: “I hope to provide some succour from our tumultuous world at large by creating a safe haven of pleasure, shared joy and a small moment in time where our senses are at the forefront of our mind rather than our anxieties.”
