It is quite scary, frankly, and it’s no wonder why the artistic community has a particular sensibility on the issue: after all that’s what art stands for, personal expression and societal change. One of those creative heroes spreading awareness on the issue takes the name of Doug Rimington, debuting a solo project aiming at shuffling the cards on planet health.
‘Bloodied Fjords’ is the first release of Fury of a Dying Planet, an alt-rock, gritty and furious outfit that’s gearing up for a lengthier release, expected later this year. For now though, we get to enjoy ‘Bloodied Fjords’, a track that’s hard-hitting and intense as they come. As Fury of a Dying Planet explains: “At a time where climate change is accelerating, and animals are becoming extinct before our eyes, all through the greed and selfish actions of greedy humans… Fury of a Dying Planet is a call to arms to bring awareness of those who suffer, and an anthem to cheer on and support the people who sacrifice so much to protect the earth and the animals that roam free.”
