From Inside’s New Tune ‘Say The Word’ is a High-Powered Anthem

From Inside met at Quarry Bank High School in Liverpool. Do you know who else met there and formed a band? A little act called The Beatles. Could this be a sign of things to come? Only time will tell. What I can say, however, is that on the band’s brand new (as in released today) single ‘Say The Word’, their anthemic, in-your-face, and vibrant sound is on full display. Combining crunchy and dynamic guitar work with exhilarating and sometimes gritty pop synths, it’s a tune that I like to call stadium-ready. It’s an all-out alternative-pop smash, and I just want to see these guys playing it live on stage and get lost in the magic of it all!

Inspired by an Emily Dickinson poem, “The whole song is centred around the concept of hope,” says From Inside’s new vocalist Zaid Elgahmi. Lyrically, ‘Say The Word’ focuses on the potency of words, and pours scorn on the old “Sticks and Stones” children’s rhyme. “Words are powerful, they can so easily hurt but they can also heal,” says the band.

It’s been a busy year so far for From Inside, with three singles already under their belt. ‘Say The Word’ is an absolute stunner of a track and a perfect addition to their ever-growing discography!
