François Marius Returns with a New Version of ‘Rasta Dance (STARRY NIGHT)’

‘Rasta Dance (STARRY NIGHT)’ will be a familiar piece for some of our keen readers. The track is in fact a more condensed version of a single released earlier this year, ‘Ça Roule Rastaman’, this time presented with a shorter intro and an arrangement that’s bound to work extremely well on streaming services. While some of you might be wondering if one version was already enough, we welcome François Marius’ slow growth. You see, he’s constantly refining his composition, making it better and better as he goes along.

Buil on charming and highly infectious reggae groove, ‘Rasta Dance (STARRY NIGHT)’ is pretty wholesome in its execution, including real instruments and an old-school, afrobeat flair that greatly characterises the record. It’s a feel-good, summery banger, and although the autumn is about to begin, we are confident your next house party could greatly benefit from it.

Recorded in Canada and Estonia earlier this year, ‘Rasta Dance (STARRY NIGHT)’ also flourishes thanks to a fantastic master by Grammy Awards Engineer Simon Gibson, executed at Abbey Road Studios in London.
