Found Instruments Shares Dreamy Gem ‘You’re Not Alone’

So much dreaminess and elegance. ‘You’re Not Alone’ is as blissful as it could, built on soothing, mellow indie matter and a healthy slice of nostalgic instrumentation. Crowning it all, we find Found Instruments’ hypnotising vocals, wrapping the listeners into a glowing artistic aura. It’s music for the soul, someone could say; to us, it’s material that aids escapism and abstraction.

The perfect match for our dark and gloomy times? Definitely. Featuring classic ‘keyboard drums’ – drum loops included in user-friendly keyboards such as Casio, but also on some vintage organs – ‘You’re Not Alone’ layers tons of synthetisers and soundscapes on top of it, making for a relaxing and cathartic stream of misty frequencies.

Hopeful and sweet lyricism completes a compelling songwriting formula. British talent Jack Joseph Titcombe is the human behind the project. He explains about the single: “The track is the first release finished in a new home studio space and the first of a handful of releases planned for the second half of this year.”
