A dreamy, poppy, and nostalgia-laced tune, ‘Don’t Look Too Far Ahead’ sends out an upbeat reminder to slow down, take a breath, and stop overthinking everything. “If you’re overwhelmed to the point where if you ever aren’t overwhelmed, something feels wrong, this song is for you,” says Imperiale. It’s definitely one of the catchiest tracks I’ve heard this year, and I’m just loving Fifth Lucky Dragon’s fresh vibe and sound.
The project has drawn comparisons musically to acts like Glass Animals, Twenty-One Pilots, and MGMT. Pretty good company to keep if you ask me! I’m a firm believer that, should the cutting-edge production and honest, introspective lyrics from Imperiale continue, we will see him rise to the very top.
