Fia Silena has evidently done her bit, even if she’s only 21 years old. ‘Cheers Baby’ is her latest effort, a stunning slice of mainstream energy and luscious lyricism.
Drenched in modern pop stylings and a certain disco/funk flavouring, the single reminds us of contemporary heroes such as Dua Lipa and Sabrina Carpenter, yet it’s inherently personal and authentic. In it, Silena showcases her vocal prowess, incredibly hypnotising and evocative. Boasting German and Italian roots, the upcoming star has all the right cards to leave a lasting impact on the music industry.
Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Cheers Baby’, Fia explains: “There’s always the expectation of typical ‘I miss you’ songs after a breakup. But why? If that person hadn’t ended things back then, maybe our lives now would look completely different. So, shouldn’t we just be thankful and say, ‘Cheers to you, baby’?”.
